Classes
Boxing
Known as "The Sweet Science", our boxing program will improve both your offensive and defensive punching skills. You will learn to slip, block, parry, and throw multiple punch combinations effectively while moving and using angles.
Muay Thai Kickboxing
Also known as the "Art of Eight Limbs," Muay Thai utilizes punches, kicks, elbows, and knees. It is known for its overwhelming and powerful strikes.
In the Muay Thai class heavy bags, focus mitts, and sparring among other tools are used to help hone and sharpen student's techniques.
Submission Wrestling
Our Submission Wrestling program focuses on takedowns, ground positioning, and submissions to provide a solid foundation.
Students will learn how a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique—most notably by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the other individual.
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu
Similar to our Submission Wrestling classes, our Brazilian Jiu-jitsu program focuses on takedowns, ground positioning, and submissions to provide a solid foundation. By using the "gi" or traditional uniform often used when practicng martial arts, students will learn to use joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat an assailant.
This class is great for those interested in self-defense.
Private Lessons
Private one-on-one or small group instruction is available. Private lessons have many benefits over large class instruction, the most obvious of which is that you have the undivided attention of your instructor. We recommend this membership for those that cannot attend classes during the normal hours of operation.
During private lessons, you can request to work with a coach who addresses specific disciplines and aspects of your training that need to be improved upon.
